While searching for a pair of turquoise boots, I spotted these two boots, discarded (or waiting for the next need to be filled) in a planter of Prickly Pear Cactus. There was something heart warming about this scene. As I was painting this picture, I realized that they are not a pair, just two old boots. As a friend pointed out, just like two old souls that have found each other and are supporting each other through all the trials in life, which can be cruel sometimes.
